DIS Technologies has been serving residents of Billings, MT since 1964. We initially began with the goal of helping small and medium-sized businesses use technology as a tool to become more efficient and productive. To this day we remain true to our roots and continue to provide state-of-the-art IT support. We’ve also expanded to other industries, allowing many businesses in the Billings, MT area to shift their focus from their technology concerns back to their business.

Our Techs

Garrett Johnson

Garrett joined the staff of DIS in February of 2008 as our IT Services Manager. A Montana native, Garrett was raised in Hysham and Billings. Prior to joining DIS, he was the network "technology guru" for the Rapid City Police Department handling all computer-related matters in addition to performing complete installations of computers, radios and law enforcement equipment in police vehicles. Garrett, a husband and father of five young children, enjoys heading off-road in his spare time and hunting and fishing as time allows. Around DIS, Garrett is affectionately known as “Pb”; a nickname which we will let him explain to you.

Jocelin Staton

Jocelin joined our DIS family in June of 2003 in the Image Archiving department. Over the years she has mastered many of the different job descriptions at DIS and is now the DIS Office Manager working with the Sales, IT, Scanning and Archiving Departments. "Working at DIS is great," she says, "Not only do I get to work with the best people and the best clients, I love what I do here."

CJ Schock

CJ joined the DIS team in 2012. With an Associate of Applied Science degree as a computer systems specialist and network analyst, CJ worked for Williston Public Schools as a support specialist and has experience in the electronics manufacturing industry. CJ has extensive networking knowledge and as is the case with all our DIS staff, he is an invaluable asset to DIS and its clients. CJ lives in Billings with his wife Shannon. He is an accomplished competitive shooter and competes in local, regional and national competitions.

Lisa Hofferber

Lisa joined DIS in July of 2012 and is part of the IT team. She was born in Chicago, IL but grew up in Billings. She recently moved back to Billings in July of 2012 from Spokane Valley, WA where she spent several years providing IT services in the banking industry. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her daughters, friends and husband Tim. As time allows, she also likes to lift weights, read, make jewelry, bowl, and watch sports.

Nathan Brush

Nathan joined us direct from nine years of active service as a US Marine. Nathan is a Montana native and has lived in Mesa, AZ, Camp Pendleton and Fallbrook CA, Camp Al-Taqaddum Iraq, Brandon and Tampa FL. He brings extensive experience and certifications in computer networking and security.

Josh Drinville

Josh joined DIS in 2013, bringing with him 3 years of healthcare IT services experience. Born in Hamilton, MT, Josh has lived in Darby, MT and Everett, WA. He now resides in Helena with his wife Lindsey and daughter Lucy. In addition to his analytical IT skills, Josh is known as the guru of all things printer or scanner related. When not working, Josh enjoys his family time and strategic video games that require critical thinking and forethought.

Erin Dickey

Erin began her career at DIS in October of 2013 as the IT Services Coordinator, a brand-new position created due to the rapid growth of the IT department. Originally from Billings, she has lived in Oregon and California. While in California, she worked for Nugget Markets, a Fortune Top 100 company where she was the POS manager, front end manager, cashier trainer and assistant bookkeeper. Erin brought with her 9 years of valuable customer relations experience and organizational skills and her goal is to assist the IT department with giving clients prompt, efficient service every time they call for support. She really enjoys getting to know clients on a personal level and can often be heard laughing on the phone with them.

Daniel Polingo

Daniel joined DIS in 2018. Originally from Florida, he has extensive experience in providing IT services in the banking, medical and state government verticals, including the Department of Justice. Daniel is dedicated to the idea of providing excellent customer service in all situations. He also appreciates the critical nature of keeping accurate and timely documentation of his work. Documentation enables him to quickly address the client’s IT situations and resolve issues in a timely manner, helping him to maintain a high level of customer service.

Matt Davison

Matt Joined DIS in November 2004 as our National Accounts Manager. In 14 years, he brought a wealth of experience to DIS, providing strategic planning and designing for implementations of security camera systems, access control systems, document management solutions, scanning services and new business growth. Matt’s B2B experiences include positions as a sales manager with The Glidden Paint Co, account manager for a marketing printing company, and as Director of Business Development for Avantext Inc – a digital aviation publisher, co-owner in a marketing company and a document scanning company prior to joining DIS Technologies. Matt is a native of Fort Benton Montana, lived on the East coast for 20 years and holds a BS from Montana State University.

Community Involvement

We have a firm understanding that we would not have been able to thrive over the past six decades if it weren’t for a strong connection with our local community. We appreciate the opportunities that our neighbors have provided to us. This is one of the primary reasons why we will continue to emphasize customer service moving forward. But, we also continually look for ways to increase our community outreach and involvement. We are proud of our engagement with numerous organizations.
